Freebie Friday - Animal QR Codes

These past two weeks we've been studying animals and their habitats.  The kiddos have been loving it! As a part of our unit each student is researching one specific animal and creating a mystery box.  (We are still in the process of creating these, so I will post pics when they are done!)

One activity our students really enjoyed was using the iPads and QR Codes.  With each task card, the student wrote down the animal group and habitat.  Then they scanned the QR Code to see if their answer was correct.  Instant feedback!  The task cards can be used in a variety of ways:
*whole class - scavenger hunt (or "I Spy" activity)
*small group or center activity
*individual - as an assessment or for extra practice

The Freebie set of  Animal QR Codes includes 22 cards and a student recording sheet.  Each card has a picture of animal.  The student names the animal and then scans the QR Code to see if their answer is correct.  All you need is to down load the free QR code reader Qrafter (if you haven't already) onto your iPad, iPod, or smartphone that you will be using.

For your free copy you can click on the pictures above or HERE!
